We do not allow pets

We understand that every couple has their own unique vision and style for their special day, and we want to help you make it a reality. That’s why we don’t include tables and chairs with our venue rental, so you can choose the ones that suit your taste and theme best. To make it easier for you, we provide a list of preferred vendors that offer a variety of options and discounts when you book with us. We hope this will make your planning process more enjoyable and stress-free. 

  • We require 50% payment up front with the signed contract
  • Your remaining balance is due 90 days before your event

Yes, since Mira Vista is a private estate & vacation rental, all venue tours must be scheduled

  • Yes. To ensure the success of your event Mira Vista Estate we require a professional & licensed coordinator/planner for all weddings; along with non-wedding events larger than 100 guests.  
  • We also have a list of other fantastic local planners/coordinators we are happy to recommend. You are welcome to hire a planner not from the provided list, however, as with all vendors, these planners must be approved by the Venue Manager and we reserve the right to deny any vendor that does not meet our standards.
  • Clients are welcome to bring in their own beer/wine/spirits for all events. While you are welcome to BYOB we do require that all bar services must be operated by a fully licensed bartender and/or caterer, we do not allow self-serve alcohol of any kind. Mira Vista is pleased to offer fully licensed, insured, and highly experienced bar services through its preferred vendor list.
  • Should you opt to bring in spirits, you will be required to hire a professional security company
  • All bars must close, and alcohol service stopped 30 minutes prior to the end of your event. 

We require that all clients obtain day of liability insurance of at least one million dollars ($1,000,000), naming Mira Vista Estate as additionally insured up to (30) days prior to the event. This can sometimes be done through your homeowner’s policy and is also available through our insurance provider, our venue manager can walk you through the process. The cost for such a policy is typically around $150.  All vendors working on-site must also show proof of commercial general liability, workers compensation, and liquor liability (if serving alcohol).

We require that your guests be shuttled in/out of your event, not only for space limitations but also for the safety of your guests that are consuming alcohol. (ask about other options as well)

Mira Vista Estate is a smoke/vape-free venue

All amplified sound is required to end by 10:00 pm, per the San Luis Obispo County noise ordinance. It is the guest’s responsibility to communicate this to their music vendors.

Due to county ordinance, all events must end by 10:00 pm, and be fully broken down by 11:00 pm.
